Senate Bill 556 is rapidly approaching approval! This bill will require an AED be present in any public location greater than 50,000 square feet with 25 or more individuals present on a regular basis.
Other than a couple articles, there is no other notification to area businesses.
Using an AED is extremely easy and everyone should know how to use it. Survival rates for sudden cardiac arrest have never been higher now that experts agree that early CPR and early defibrillation are the key factors.
HeartLINK Health Services can help provide your company with a comprehensive plan and an AED that is cost appropriate and meets OHSA and regulatory standards. All classes are American Heart Association. Be aware that if the training is not nationally accredited it may not meet OSHA standards and protect you in a liability suit!! Question any current trainers you may be using.
All consultants and trainers with HeartLINK Health Services are medical professionals and trained to help you!
This information is complex and all businesses need to start preparing for it immediately!
