I had the opportunity to share at Keizer Chamber of Commerce's monthly luncheon today the commitment of our business partners through Ready to Learn Ready to Work. Tony Thiesen did a great job providing 'interview tips' and showcasing ways to engage students, Scott Sadler and Sandy Torgrimson-Fox both shared their experiences in working with our youth. Field Trip to McNary Air field

We have so many wonderful folks who support Ready to Learn Ready to Work! Great examples today are Alan Alexander of the Salem Airport and Gwen & Jim Graham of Graham Aviation. They both provided tours of their facilities and insight into the various careers in aviation and airport managerment. The student's were from McKay High, had ridden Cherriots over and thoroughly enjoyed the time. Continue

SHOW-BIZ Signs going up!

JIFFY-Job Interview Fair for Youth a Success!

Thank you to all of you who supported our youth by participating in JIFFY on Thursday! We had over 100 interviewers provide mock interviews to over 600 Salem-Keizer high school students! The students received valuable feedback with each interview; and broadened their understanding of expectations of employers.
