"Nathan Daniel Knottingham was born April 1980 in Albany, Oregon.” I’m pretty sure that is how my biography will start when someone decides to write it for me. The rest, however, is still pretty open as I’m rather young.

Getting home and blogging about the days activities reminds me of coming home from school with Mom asking, “What did you do in school today?” Only this time, without the false young male bravado passing off school like it’s no big deal, I’m excited and ready to share!

I was brushing my teeth this morning and started tearing up. 8 years ago at 7AM I was brushing my teeth when I turned on the news to see the devastation of an attack on American soil. And I remember, more vividly than anything, the sorrow for life lost and the weight of helplessness.
