DESCRIPTION:Salem Chamber Orchestra is thrilled to announce its new Ch
 amber Music Festival 2009: Summer Soirees! The series of six recitals 
 will feature SCO musicians performing chamber music in unique, intimat
 e venues, followed by light receptions and art raffles.\n\nThe first S
 ummer Soiree will be at the gorgeous estate of Jack and Pam Scott in S
 outh Salem, Villa Bacca Collina. The Soiree features special guests Ka
 therine McLin, violinist, and Andrew Campbell, pianist. Their performa
 nce will include works by Copland, Ives, and de Falla.\n\nDescribed as
  \"a superb husband/wife team who bring great excitement and artistry 
 to their performances of the violin and piano concert literature,\" th
 e McLin/Campbell Duo appears on recital series throughout the United S
 tates. Marking their twentieth season with recitals in Massachusetts, 
 Connecticut, New York, Arizona, Oregon and Texas, the duo also plans o
 n the release of their first recording Beau Soir by Summit Records in 
 October 2009.\n\nMcLin & Campbell’s performance will be followed
  by a light reception featuring delicious desserts by Amadeus Café an
 d Witness Tree Vineyard wines. A selection of paintings by artist Sam 
 Rouslin will be on display as well, and each admission ticket comes wi
 th one raffle ticket – your chance to win your choice of the paintin
 gs on display!\n\nTickets to this wonderful evening of music are only 
 $20 in advance, $25 at the door. Students are $15 in advance and $18 a
